Dr. Argüden has been instrumental in establishing the Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation (TEGV) in 1995. TEGV is one of Türkiye’s most successful and trusted NGOs with a reputation for creativity, integrity, and vision. Dr. Argüden served as a member of TEGV’s Founding Board and Board of Trustees; helped develop its Mission & Strategic Priorities, as well as deployment of its programs throughout the country. He also contributed to developing top quality education materials. In 2018, he was elected as a Member of the High Advisory Council.
TEGV helps develop children aged 7-16, living in socio-economically underprivileged regions of the country through a variety of learning programs. TEGV operates numerous facilities including education parks, learning centers, and mobile education units throughout the country. Facilities are open to all children regardless of race, sex, class, religion or ethnic origin. With the help of over 10,000 volunteers, TEGV has reached over 3 Million children.
