Dr. Yılmaz Argüden represented the World Bank in over 100 loan negotiations with more than 20 countries in the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America regions between 1985-88.
He helped implement an infrastructure for coordination of multinational aid programs for Sub-Saharan countries and served as a member of the Information Technology Working Group for the World Bank.
Upon his government’s invitation, he took a leave of absence from the Bank to head the Turkish Privatization Program.
