In 2015, during the period when Türkiye held the presidency of the G20, efforts by ARGE Consulting and the Argüden Governance Academy led to integrated reporting being included among the recommendations presented to G20 leaders.
By 2015, the first integrated report in Türkiye was prepared and published by the non-profit Argüden Governance Academy (Köse & Çetinel, 2017, p. 170). Following this development, publicly traded companies in Türkiye, such as Aslan Cement, Adana Cement, and Çimsa, along with the financial sector player Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye (TSKB), also published integrated reports (Elmacı & Sevim, 2017, p. 25)
