Dr. Argüden is the Chairman of ARGE Consulting, a leading Turkish management consulting firm recognized for its strategic leadership in areas such as governance, strategy, sustainability, and quality management, as well as for its contributions to the development of non-governmental organizations.

Founded in 1991, ARGE Danışmanlık/Consulting has been instrumental in initiating the National Quality Movement (1998); became the first Turkish signatory of the UN Global Compact (2002); and served as the B20 Knowledge Partner for governance and sustainability (2015).

ARGE Consulting is a certified advisory organization of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and an IFRS licensed training organization for Integrated Reporting, as well as being the founder of non-profit Argüden Governance Academy. The Academy promotes good governance in public, corporate, and NGO institutions. It has become the first Turkish institution to adopt Integrated Reporting and a global pioneer among the NGOs by reporting its activities as an Integrated Report since its first year of operation (2015).

ARGE has also served as a member of the World Economic Forum’s Professional Services Working Group, the Governance Committee of Business at OECD, and the Corporate Governance Advisory Group of the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

ARGE Consulting has helped many institutions develop innovative competitive strategies and win National and European Quality Awards. It has also played an instrumental role in restructuring numerous Turkish and international institutions and in establishing effective human resources systems for them.

ARGE has a corporate social responsibility program that encourages its employees to commit one day a week to pro-bono work for NGOs since its founding. Its social service culture resulted in ARGE partners assuming leadership positions in numerous NGOs. ARGE has also helped many NGOs develop their award schemes as a social change management tool. ARGE Consulting has been recognized at the European Parliament as one of the best three companies, for “Shaping the Future” with its commitment to corporate social responsibility (2002).
