‘Yılmaz’ means ‘dauntless’. ‘Argüden’ means ‘honorable’, ‘guide for integrity’ and is pronounced as ‘argue then’, as in the phrase “if you don’t agree, argue then.”
Served as the Chairman of the Governance Committee of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) to the OECD. Contributed to the OECD guidelines for good governance.
